And We're Off!

Redistricting is now underway. The Census Bureau has released population data for the first four states: Mississippi, Louisiana, New Jersey, and Virginia. All states' data must be released by April 1, 2011. We are in the midst of adding some cool new features to the DistrictBuilder software -- such as a street maps overlay -- and need to do some data preparation. We expect to begin releasing the software preloaded with census data on Wednesday, February 9th. In the meantime, we have compiled population reports on the current congressional and state legislative districts in Louisiana, Mississippi, New Jersey, and Virginia.
