Amazon Web Services has provided the Public Mapping Project a $50K grant to support web hosting through the AWS infrastructure. The web hosting is for educational purposes, such as using the software in conjunction with a class or to support research. Since our redistricting software is open-source and free, this grant provides free redistricting to students and faculty across the country.

We will be providing more information about this exciting development in the coming days as we set up administration to dispense accounts.
